Alamo Heights Mule
Fan Playoff Update
Just in case you are not aware, your Mules pulled off an
impressive road victory in Kerrville against the Tivy Antlers 51-44 on Friday
night. Quite an impressive scoring
night for your heroes. And it is
always nice to leave a mess on Tivy’s rug. So the Mules finish the regular season 8-2 and 7-1 in
district 27-5A play in sole possession of second place.
Now to the “third” segment of the season. The playoffs. We get the fortunate opportunity to host the first round of
the playoffs at Harry B. Orem Stadium Friday, November 14th at 7:30p
against Harlandale which finished its season 6-4 after a rivalry win over
McCollum in the Frontier Bowl 7-6.
Here are the important details straight from Alamo Heights
Athletic Office guru, Patty Juarez a.k.a. "The Mule Whisperer":

We know what you’re thinking. “But wait a minute Mule Fan, how is Coach Norment going to
get into those tiny orange shorts and one of those tank tops?” Thankfully, this appearance doesn’t
require such out of character costume changes for the Mules leader. He will be appearing at 10:00am at the
Hooters on Hwy 281 and Bitters (near the A,T&T Store) for a live radio
interview with the Texas Sports Radio Network and CBS Sports Radio 860 AM on “SA
Football Weekly." Coach Norment
will be on the air from 10:10am-10:45am.
Come on out, have lunch or brunch and enjoy the show as Coach Norment
talks about our Mules football team.
Let’s get a good turnout of Mules supporters. (Secretly, one hopes/dreams that if Hooters sees a good
turnout for this show that they might consider opening a restaurant in 78209.)
How on earth am I supposed to refrain from commenting on the BroadcasLive from hooters
